"Every Cattleman will want this unique book in their library."

Forward From "A Cattleman's Walk Down Memory Lane"

Born during the depression years to farm families Bob & Joyce Gordon have experienced a great many changes in farming over the past sixty years.

They dreamed of some day breeding quality registered livestock of their own.  This became a reality by first breeding registered Shorthorn cattle, then being one of the first in America to import and breed Simmental cattle!  Later they bred Polled Herefords and Angus.  This resulted in them showing their cattle to win major shows all over North America under the herd name of "Kinnaber Cattle Co".

During that time they developed a large ranchers market for bulls in the Western ranch country of North America!  Also during that time they bred registered hogs and maintained a large dairy herd.  During these years they raised a family of four daughters and one son, who today are all heavily involved with the livestock industry.

With their years of experiences working with a number of breeds they were asked to select the sires for Alta Genetics who marketed semen in North America and other world markets.  This resulted in working with and selecting sires from a large number of North American breeders.

You can read all about their many experiences and frank evaluation of livestock and conditions in the recently published book "A Cattleman's Walk Down Memory Lane".
